04 / GOOD QUESTIONS
ASK FIRST.
DIG SMARTER.
Some of the things property owners and contractors ask before the first bucket of dirt moves.
01What kinds of projects does Frontier Excavation take on?+
The service lineup includes demolition, excavation, lot clearing, grading, drainage and trenching, concrete and driveway removal, gravel driveways, utility trenching and event-based snow or ice clearing (subject to availability). Share the details of your project and we can confirm fit.
02Do you work with homeowners and commercial contractors?+
The services can apply to residential or commercial work. The exact project size, equipment access and crew availability determine whether we are the right match.
03Which areas of North Texas do you serve?+
We’re focused on the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Send the project city or ZIP code and we’ll confirm travel and scheduling availability.
04Can I get an estimate before scheduling work?+
Yes. Use the inquiry form on any service page. Share your project location, scope, approximate size, access conditions and timing. Some jobs may require an on-site review before accurate pricing.
05Will you remove and haul away debris?+
For many demolition, concrete removal and clearing projects, debris removal can be part of the scope. Be sure to request haul-off in the estimate so disposal and cleanup are addressed clearly.
06Do I need permits or utility locates?+
Possibly. Requirements depend on the city, project and type of work. Texas 811 utility locating should be coordinated before digging, and some projects need additional private locating, permits or engineering. We’ll discuss the relevant requirements during planning.
07Can you help with drainage problems?+
We can review grading and trench-based drainage work. An effective plan depends on where runoff originates, available fall and approved discharge routes. More complex sites may require an engineered drainage plan.
08Can you install the utility lines, too?+
The utility trenching service covers excavation-related work. Electrical, gas, water, sewer and telecom connections may require the relevant licensed professional and inspection; those should be separately confirmed in the scope.
09Is available in DFW?+
The prior business advertised snow-related work. Under the new DFW operation, weather-response jobs should be considered by request only until the owner confirms current equipment and crew availability.
10How soon can you start?+
Scheduling depends on current availability, weather, site readiness and any permits or utility coordination required. Send your preferred timeline with the inquiry and we can discuss next steps.
